Even when it was working for the BBC I've never managed to make it work for C4. Of course it might be that i'm doing something wrong but i suspect its just flaky. I used it on Linux for several years with very few probs. I've never put much effort into finding out what the problem is because I only want to save a programme occasionally, and after the opportunity is missed, I forget about it until I want it again.
